What is Eyelash Tint?

Eyelash Tint darkens the lashes allowing you to accentuate the shape of your eyes or enhance naturally light brown or blonde lashes.  Eyelash Tint is a specially formulated, ophthalmologist tested, semi-permanent lash color.  This service is performed at the shampoo bowl while you are receiving a hair service or in one of our skin or lash rooms.  Complimentary Collagen Gel pads are placed beneath the lower lash line and you are asked to lay back, close your eyes and relax.  The service takes 10 minutes and you are required to keep your eyes closed.  Color fades in 3 to 4 weeks depending on your lifestyle, skin type and cleansers used.  A patch test is recommended especially if you are known to suffer from allergies.

What are Eyelash Extensions?

Eyelash Extensions are synthetic mink lashes adhered one by one with the purpose of accentuating your eyes and lengthening your natural lashes.

How long will my Eyelash Extensions last?

These lashes will fall off when your natural lash sheds.  Depending on the growth phase each natural lash is in when a synthetic lash is applied, the lashes can stay on anywhere from 1 day to 2 months.

How do I maintain my Eyelash Extensions?

Proper care is necessary to get the most out of an Eyelash Extension Service.  For the first 24 hours post service avoid getting your lashes wet, avoid high heat such as in a sauna or steam room and avoid touching, rubbing or pulling at your eyes or lashes.

Proper cleansing products and techniques are a must.  You will be given a demonstration on care at the time of your service and LashPure cleanser is available for purchase.

In order to keep a full look, infills will need to be done at 2 or 3 week intervals.

What about mascara and eye makeup?

Most likely, you will not feel you need to wear mascara with a full set of Eyelash Extensions.  If you have only gotten one of our partial service options, have begun to shed lashes or just simply cannot leave home without mascara you may wear oil free, lightweight, non-waterproof formulations - preferably one specially formulated for synthetic lashes.  You will need to take special care when applying mascara; avoid the base of lashes, concentrating only on the tips.  Removing mascara must be done with an equally careful, light hand, using only approved cleanser and with the techniques demonstrated at the time of your application.

You may wear eye makeup and liner so long as it is oil free.  Take care to use only LashPure Cleanser and to follow proper techniques shown to you by your lash artist.

How do I prepare for my appointment?

Pre-appointment remove all eye makeup with an oil free makeup remover.  Make sure the area around your lashes is clean, dry and oil free.  While we can and will, if necessary, remove your makeup for you we caution that this will cut into your appointment time and therefor you may not get as many lashes as you could have.  We also ask that you choose glasses over contacts for your visit.  If this is your first visit with us we ask that you arrive 10 minutes early to fill out the necessary forms.

What is the Eyelash Extension service like?

Most people find their Eyelash Extension service to be very relaxing.  You will recline in a treatment chair and be made comfortable with the available pillows and blankets.  Your lash artist will provide a thorough consultation, go over sanitation practices and release forms followed by a complete examination of your natural lashes.  You will be asked to close your eyes and the service will begin.

Length of appointment will depend on the type of service you have booked but can take anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 1/2 hours.  It is necessary for you to keep your eyes closed for the duration of your service.

We offer several service options so that you may choose a more natural look or a less time-consuming procedure and encourage clients to take advantage of these options for their first extension experience.
